Mr. David Kofi Nutakor is a highly respected maritime and logistics professional with decades of international experience in customs administration, freight forwarding, maritime education, and trade facilitation. A retired career customs officer, he is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dock to Door Shipping Limited.

Mr. Nutakor is a graduate of the School of Shipping in Liverpool and the Regional Maritime University in Accra, and holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Affairs from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He has served as a United Nations expert in Iraq and has lectured at the Regional Maritime University, the Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders Academy, and GIMPA.

Internationally, Mr. Nutakor serves as a Vice President of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations), based in Geneva, and is a certified FIATA Trainer in International Freight Forwarding. He is also a longstanding member of the FIATA Education Board and the FIATA Foundation Management Committee, representing Africa and the Middle East on FIATA’s Extended Board.

His deep commitment to education, youth development, and capacity building brings invaluable insight to the Board, particularly in areas of maritime regulation, international logistics standards, and industry engagement.
